Hey everyone I have an 89 Jeep Cherokee that is hard to start and when it does start is runs for only a few seconds and sound very bad. There is also a very strong fuel smell when trying to start it......kinda like it is flooded. If you give it any gas at all it will not start and when it does finally start and you give it gas it kills it.....A little backgound info....I traded for this jeep and drove it about 150 miles before I took it offroad. I took it through one mud hole with my boys and came home and parked it. Went outside the next day to clean it up and it would not start. It was a decent hole and had to get on it pretty hard but I have been through worse. Hope someone can lead me in the right direction. The guy said he just replaced the crank sensor. I hope someone can lead me in the right direction. Thanks
