Default 89 cherokee idles real low and stalls

I have this cherokee ive been driving it around it is no longer sitting around anyways i start it up it will idle around 700 i put it in drive idle drops to about 400 most of the time if i lightly press on the pedal first then accelerate it will go most of the time other times ill go to give it alittle gas at a stop light and it will dogg right out and goto stall ill let off the pedal then give it alittle still again dont wanna go 3-4 times of this till it finally takes off. Also if you come to a crawl or slight stop while making a turn it will bog right out and die in the middle of the turn and i lose steering and brakes as u all know which is dangerous and also a wear on my starter as ill have to start after a stall i have the 4.0 auto cant pop start it. my relative who had the car had the distributor off awhile back and messed around when he had problems so im wondering if its something 2 do with the timeing this was before i replaced a bunch of parts and he had a problem with it i have since replaced the oil the plugs air filter fuel filter vaccum lines harness the iac the tps cleaned the throttle body lube the throttle cable tryed some injector cleaner im lost and have spent 4-5 hundred bucks on parts???

Well if its been sitting around i would check vaccum leakes or replace the vaccumms that normally works or i would clean out the airbox and carb or throttle body just to be sure.

The only thing i can do is try and test every sensor with what freegdr links suggest the lund site tells u how to check almost every sensor so i guess ill have to do that. as ive stated in park at cold ill get 900 rpm but as soon as i put it in drive it drops down to 400 rpm. Pretty soon ill prolly need a new starter at the rate im going but i wont give up on old faithfull ill get this thing to idle smooth one way or another before the end of its life i would love to be able to show the old owner that it runs like a top drives great that ive fixed its bug.

Default The problem that will never be easily fixed rough idle curse

ok guys the tps was adjust/set back to the correct voltage and the egr has been tested and is working perfectly as well as the map sensor however ive been told the throttle body plate seems to be moving exessively which might be from bad throttle plate bearings an cause an air leak of some sort. ive also been informed that on these jeeps theres some kind of tranny switch idle park switch which tells the car to idle up alil higher when it is in drive could that have something to do with it idk its wierd it will bogg right out rpms drop right down even when the car is in park when i hit the gas occasionlly its right there and it almost seems like if i tromp on the petal at a turn it will just buck then take off like a race car which doesnt sound dangerous at first but is. Might i add that while in park at first it will seem to idle good then a min later bogg way down to like 400 rpms then magicly shoot back up this is without touching the pedal in park
