hey,jeep was running fine. Wenrt on a trail ride and later in the evening i statred getting a stumble on my restarts but it would clear right up. After i got home with it and moved it around the yard the stumble stayed and it seems to be lacking some power because of it. I got it with 241k on it and it it a trail rig only. I changed the plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor button cause i wasnt sure when they had been done last. All of the plugs were really sooty but the same. I was thinking o2 sensor. Motor is stock, renix, no cat just a flowmaster exhaust. The emmision light has been on since i got it. I think i changed the fuel filter. How can i clear the emmision light also?

Check that the TPS bolts are tight if they are not it will need to be set with a multimeter.

 

I just got my jeep and it was running pretty rough at first, changed all the usual stuff PLUS cleaned out all the vaccuum lines, vacuum valves and throttle body and then did a hot soak (seafoam in the brake booster hose) now its purrrrring

its worth a try, just 10 bucks of seafoam and throttle body cleaner and your time

seafoam works wonders for ANY car
