88 RENIX rear power window switch

88 RENIX rear power window switch
How do I get the connector off the back of the switch? I see the two tabs on either side, but there is a bit of nylon on the top that appears to be holding the connector on as well. Before I force it and possibly break this antique part, any words of wisdom?
