Default 88 motor bolt up to 87 unit?

I have an 87 body thats in great shape but having a knock...i have a tore up 88 jeep xj sitting around that runs but has electrical problems in the dash and the body is toast. i want to swap the motors. besides the work on the one being auto and the other manual...will my 88s motor just bolt right into my 87 mounts and tranny?
