ok so i replaced the fuel pump and itll actually fires now but dies
im thinking its still running out some bad gas
but every couple tries it will run and stay running about 1000rpm if you have it floored

any input guys??

plugs fouled ? check fuel pressure also

 

Sounds like fuel pressure issue to me also.

 

I would check pressure. If you have bad gas I would check the filter it may be clogged. Also take a look at your plugs.

 

just changed the filter along with pump will check plugs and pressure tomo thanks guys

 

Let us know what you come up with.

 

all 6 plugs were burnt out picked some new plugs and wires up also gotta leak from back of motor onto exhaust
either freeze plug or head leaking, hopefully neither

 

ok so now it only wants to run off a little squirt of starter fluid
also its not flowing any water so thinking water pump
when running it also has no power at all and when you hit the pedal to give it gas it wants to die

 

Did it overheat?

 

owner before me said the water pump started leaking so he parked it
all ive seen leak water is coming from the back of the motor either the head or freeze plugs
if it did get overheated am i screwed?

 

the engine oil looks fine but is way overfilled
