i had a small fire under my hood today, dunno exactly what the cause was but i'm thinking it was electrical. (Lot of miles, and i really don't know what the previous owner did or didn't do) I need to replace my wiring harness, and i was wondering if any one can point me in the right direction on where to get one and what kind to get etc...

its a 88 cherokee limited and i know i need new battery cables, coil pack and a few other things that i can find pretty easily, i just can't find the wiring harness for the 88 xj on line.

 

Hate to revive an old thread, but im going through this exact same thing right now. Its an 88 Laredo. I had an under hood fire,I repaired any wires that had burned through, it ran for about 2 weeks after the fire, but one day it just stopped and the fuel pump wouldn't run unless hot wired to the battery. I took it to a "mechanic" and he suggested replacing the engine harness. I cant find one and need my jeep to be fixed. Im into it WAY too much to just let it go! FML!!
