After all that hard ache I finally fixed my problem. The result was the two missing bell housing bolts up top (the e12s) were missing causing the transmission to shift while in reverse (Bell housing was loose to engine block) causing the CPS to act up (not get a good reading) after replacing those bolts reverse issue went away.
