Lots of pedal travel along with poor braking performance. If it nosedives real bad when brkaes are applied, the part of teh MC fo rthe rear brakes went bad. If when you apply the brakes it slows dwon kinda crappy and DOESN'T nosedive, the part of the MC for the front brakes is bad.

Lol my bad duh. But yeah it pretty much nose dives and catches if I'm driving and I pump it a couple times

If you're not losing fluid, replace the MC and adjust up your rear brake shoes.

pump pedal when it comes up hold steady pressure on pedal if it slowly sinks and theres no leaks masters bypassing replace it.If it holds adjust rears and bleed each wheel one more time and see what ya got. Early xj braking is one step above Fred Flinstone so don't expect much...

So did everything everyone said and still didn't work so I bought a master cylinder replaced it and breaks work great now.. thanks everyone appreciate all the help
