Default 87 Cherokee rear frame nut strip size?

Does any one know for sure the thread size for the rear frame oem nut strips on the passenger side? I need to chase mine with a tap and don't have bolts to compare. I dont want to chase with an incorrect tap.

I thought it would come to me if I slept on it, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what you're working on. A picture would be good, or another description of the exact thing you're working.

Thanks for the reply. I am working on mounting a hitch. I thought there were threaded inserts under the frame rail to which the hitch would bolt. Further inspection revealed no such thing. My bad for not knocking the 40 years of dirt away before asking questions. My apologies.
