hey guys, i recently was driving down the road when my jeep just died, i turnd the key on, no fuel pump prime. had it towed home and the next day i got frustrated and direct wired the pump and it worked , so i tried starting it, nothing, tested for spark and no spark either, so my question is is there something that runs them both?? because when it comes to wiring i am lost. ive changed the crankshaft position sensor so far, and tested the coil. im lost.. also if i put jumper wires in the relays the jeep will fire but just die. any help is greatly appreciated thanks

 

Not sure on the 2.5, have you checked the relays?
You may also have the ballast resistor, for the fuel pump, look and see if that is burned up(ceramic thing on DR fender with two orange wires, one in and one out)

 

Have you tested all fuse for power in and out with key in run position ?
