Hey guys, I accidentally posted this in the wrong forum...
doing a valve adjustment on my 2.8l 86 Cherokee.
couple of questions:
1. I have taken pictures of hoses and such. But is there a diagram I can cross reference to make sure I plug everything back in right.
2. how do you take the passenger side valve cover off?! There is no clearance to lift it off over the rockers with the ac lines and alternator and coolant hose...
Found this guy when i took the valve cover off. Anyone knows where it goes or what’s it for? Does this have a hose attached to it? If so where to where? Also what is this?
My first XJ had this engine, same year. Gave me all sorts of issues, since then I have fallen in love with the 4.0, good luck with your project. Unfortunately, I have no knowledge of this engine.
