I have a v6 is that right , I always see in line 6s

Yep. You got tje boat anchor v6. 84-86 had the gm v6

Word on the playground is it won't fit because the firewall isn't set up for a 4.0, but I have heard of people that put a 4.0 in. As for the small block, I've done it.
