85' clutch won't engage
Clutch is strong but won't open up to allow gear change. Clutch is hydraulic, fluid is full. Is there any linkage that can be adjusted? ?

there could be air in the system not allowing the fluid to create pressure, this system is known for being difficult to bleed due to the pipe dipping low before going over the trans and air will get stuck in the high spot. Is there any leaks at the clutch master or slave cylinder? also I have seen the clutch pedal its self bed and cause it to not disengage because it bottoms out on the floor before it creates enough throw, however unlikely (happened in my 88, shop couldn't figure it out and owner gave it to me free...)
