8.25 swap prob!!

Default 8.25 swap prob!!

i just swaped out my standard dana 35 for an automatic 8.25 and now my driveline does not match up what should i do? the jeep that recived the 8.25 is a standard 4.0 91 and it came out of a automatic 4.0 2000 have drivelines from both the standard is too long and the automatic is too short.

not sure, i have a 98 xj with 8.25 auto, 242 case. Driveshaft from 88 xj auto d35 . ended up with 88 shaft and my 98 yoke (shortened by about 1")

your going to have to take one of them down and have it re-sized at a driveline shop. expect to pay about $100.

that price can easily jump up with more work
