8.25 Restoration Video

I’m working on an 8.25 swap into my ‘89 and ran across this vid. I wanted to share because I think it’s a very well done and professional video. Perhaps a tool list, some torque values and part descriptions would be nice, but for those of us who just want a run-through of the procedure without any bs, this vid is refreshingly straightforward.

Cudos to Restoration Station, the creator of the video.

All of that work and he puts a crappy open differential in it instead of a locker or limited slip LOL.

Restoration Station is more into accurate restorations than modifications, improvements, etc. Having done similar work I can appreciate that but agree, it's sometimes hard to resist the urge to sneak in some "better stuff". Unseen ones like you're suggesting would be pretty easy. A lot depends on how it will be used and accurately restored Jeeps probably won't be doing much if any serious off roading. He's done some good work on some pretty mundane things.
