8.25 brake distribution lock/vent..
I am planning on installing my new to me 8.25 over the Labor Day holiday week (on vacation)! I am missing the vent bolt that holds the block to the axle. I have searched and have come up with no name or part number. What is the bolt/vent called and where can I get it? I want to get what I need so I can get this done and make my impatient life easy! Thanks to all

I just posted something similar in Ask A Question. My donor 8.25 came with just the hard lines, no block, no bolt... nada. I don't even know the name for it lol.
If I do find out I'll post here. Factorychryslerparts.com pobably has them for $9000/ea

Whatever, guy can only check one thread at a time lol. :P I thought that was the front brake hose anyway.
At any rate I did find this pic that demonstrates the hookup. I must've thought that the vent bolt thing was where the brake hose connected.
#3, the strange vent screw, is P/N 52067508. Factorychryslerparts.com has em for $3.60
JY pickins for 8.25s are seriously rare here.

Fairly sure the d35 vent bolt thing is the same, they are a ***** to find. As for the block, if you get new brake lines (RE stainless steel braided or similar or even stock) the rear one comes with the block.

Well, just tried to place my order..Notice I said tried? $2.81 for the part, $13.91 to ship it and then they said that I didn't meet the $10 minimum purchase! So for a $2.81 part, the grand total was going to be $16 and some change and they tell me that I haven't met the minimum purchase! WTF??
I am dropping my Cummins off Monday for it's yearly service so I will check with the Mopar parts guru and see what they come up with.
