Nope, thats a Dana35 its lacking the lip around the diff cover thats typically used for identifying a Chrysler 8.25

Yeah thats a dana 35

Also you can tell easily since the rubber plug on the cover says DANA.

sorry man that i beat you to it... but ive got a random question.... i wonder if its possible if you can put two of the same axles under a vehicle.

two of the same axles? what in the world you talkin bout... i think everyones drunk tonight on here... its WED folks!!! at least wait till friday... lol... $600 is stupid for even a D44 from a cherokee... much less a 8.25... and deff not a d35... i tried to give mine away for a month on CL and nobody wanted it!!!

and when i first seen it my first thought was RUST also... but then i saw where u lived and ur probly used to that by now... lol

WTF, I wouldn't give him but $50 for that thing. If thats what the outside looks like and with how much RTV is on it I'd seriously question the condition of the bearings and gears.

What do you mean? like two Dana35s, two Dana44s or somemthing? Yes, you can run a 44/44 set-up or a Dana 60/60 set-up but its really not a necessity to run two of the same axel
