Default 8.25 or 8.8

here is my problem i can get a 29 spline 8.25 axle for free need a shaft. or i can get a 8.8 for 50 bucks. i am going to run locked on 32'' tires
which one would you run

well i hear the 8.8 will handle bigger tires with stock gears. but the 8.25 can run up to 33's with no problem

depend on how much work you wanna do

also does the 8.8 have limited slip, 4.10 gears, and disk breaks?

to add those to a 8.25 can run like $500

An 8.8 with 32's? Can you say "Rock Grabber?"

8.25 is your best bet.

thanks for the info i forgot how low the 8.8 was, also the 8.8 is drum 3.55 and no limited slip

I say take the 8.25, and that's coming from a guy w/an 8.8.
