Question 6in lift SYE?

Just lifted my XJ with a Tomken 6" kit and the front prop shaft is binding the rear is fine, no issues. It does have the 1" T-case drop. The axle has the correct camber so this is not the issue. What I am wondering is: will a SYE fix this? I question this because everything I hear is that the front prop shaft is CV so SYE or not it does not matter. And that a SYE only effects the rear prop shaft. Could I just get away with a new high angle prop shaft? This thing is eating my money faster than my girlfriend , so if you have any cheap suggestions that would be great.
