I was driving down I-5 to visit my parents for thanksgiving and at 65mph with steady throttle and no incline I suddenly lost power (with no grinding sound or explosion of parts/oil) after pulling to the side of the road and doing a quick visual assessment I attempted to take off and nothing happened... I could hear a faint "whizzing" sound when letting the clutch out.
After towing it home and putting in a new clutch kit, and buttoning it all back together (1 hour ago) only 4th gear is working? (this is a terrible mix of anxiety/confusion/anger and depression)

Is my transmission shot (planetary gears?) or is my shift mechanism shot and only 4th gear is engaging? It feels like it goes into each gear fine though.

any thoughts/experience/insight would be greatly appreciated I am burning up my days off from work, and I need to get my jeep back into commission quickly.
