Rumbling noise coming from the bell housing area, when you take out of gear and release the clutch . 2000 cherokee 4.0 123,000 miles

Yea thats when you can hear it, not real loud but loud enough if you have the door open. no slipping, a little stiff into gear. 2000 Cherokee Thanks

i dont think its the clutch. the clutch and throw out bearing is not used in neutral ...id have to hear it , but sounds like trans bearings going out?
