4x4H works but not 4x4L

4x4H works but not 4x4L
I'm new to working on this jeep, but when I shift to 4x4H it works normal and just dandy but then when I shift to 4x4L it doesn't work. When I shift to 4x4L and press the gas it revs but nothings happens. I don't hear any rumbling or weird noises when its in 4x4L. Any suggestions on what the issue might be?
