Can't get my freaking jeep to say in 4lo. It's fine in 4hi. When I put it in 4lo it goes but when I start rolling it jumps out of gear. Pos. I've checked the linkage and it's not the prob. Any thought?

Sounds like mis-adjusted linkage or a bad shift fork

I don't know. Linkage looks fine to me. Someone said I may have to cut my floor pan back a little cause it's not engaging all the way due to the lift.

Idk. It's only a 3" lift. I'll give it a whirl.

If you did a tranny bracket lowering you may have put the linkage in a bind. If you didn't I would look back at my first post.

I have the same problem. Half the time I can get 4 lo to stay in. half the time I can't. I'm on 3" lift and have a tcase drop bracket so my linkage is off. just gonna upgrade to the Novak shift cable so that as I continue to change things the problem won't persist.

Holy **** guys. adjusting the linkage is easy.

Transfer Case Linkage Adjustment

Straight from the FSM:

SHIFT LINKAGE ADJUSTMENT
(1) Shift transfer case into 4L position. (make sure your shifter is fully in the 4L position)
(2) Raise vehicle.
(3) Loosen lock bolt on adjusting trunnion (Fig.
87).
(4) Be sure linkage rod slides freely in trunnion.
Clean rod and apply spray lube if necessary.
(5) Verify that transfer case range lever is fully
engaged in 4L position. (you can do this under the vehicle at the transfer case)
(6) Tighten adjusting trunnion lock bolt.
(7) Lower vehicle

For those of you who have trouble understanding written instructions, there's this:

I've got mine adjusted as best as I can but my z bar is not at the right angle and the bushings are all worn out. It's past the point of just adjusting it.

So I think I got the linkage fixed. Zip ties to hold it all together where the bushings are worn out and I was able to get it adjusted then.

oh and for the adjustment, I find it easier to leave it in 2h and loosen the nut, then push the bar to the rear of the vehicle and tighten the nut back. much easier and more effective.
