Sorry, I ment the adjustable linkage leading to the t-case.
If I understand you correctly, you can get it into 4low but only if you pull and hold the shifter right back, as soon as you let go of the selector it jumps out of 4low? Is this correct?

Attached are pictures of the linkage, you might want to try adjusting yours a little so that the 4 low can engage properly.
I have adjusted mine a little too much and as a result it goes into 4 low easily but I have difficulty getting it back into 2hi. But that dosent bother me too much, seeing as I have to drive in full time 4wd to solve my prop vibration issues
