Default 4WD Light

Hi, I am new to the forum. My girlfriend has a 96 Cherokee Sport, with about 214,000 on it. It is stock except for a little bigger tires, and overload springs. Anyway, I just noticed tonight that with the Transfer Case in 4-Hi the "Part time" light does not come on on the dash. The 4wd seems to work fine, Just wondering why the light wouldnt come on... Is there anything to check for, Im thinking it might just be a bad bulb, but am still wondering if I should check anything else...
Thanks for reading,
Dylan

I will check the connectors tomorrow, she already went home for the night. Also; it sounds like its missing at idle. After it is first started and you start driving it bogs down no matter where the pedal is at, it will stay at around 1000 rpm and try to die for about 15 seconds, after that it kicks back in and goes how its supposed to. It does this about once or twice a day. Any ideas?
