4WD Indicator Light Switch
i have a problem .. first was when i put the full time the light come up but when i put the part time and the 4 low no light come up ..... they told me to change the 4wd switch so i change it ..... now when i put full time and part time and 4 low all light comes up .... but when i put on 2wd and drive the light of full time keep flashing .... ???? anyone help

This issue is not common and difficult to figure out how it works.
The dash lights for switch need 'ground' to illuminate. The plunger type indicator that screws into transfer case is what operates the lights by giving proper ground signal.
If all the lights are coming on, it would seem to be a ground issue. Chafed or broken wires perhaps. However, there are different switches for different years/transfer cases. Did the one you installed look identical and have the same number of wires?

Don't know for sure where it is on a ninety-sick, but the later versions of real XJ's had a ground, called G108, that was located near the headlamp switch and above the DLC, under the dash.
Why are you looking for this anyway. I think it's only the Realnuts XJ's that has this issue.
