Bought my jeep and the lights when in 4h and L didn't come on in the dash replaced the switch on top of the t-case 2 pronged (obv 231) now the light for full time comes on when in 4h but in 4l the full time light will come back on for a second and then off. The part time light never comes on. I mean obv I can live without but just one of those things thatll bother me. I have not checked the bulb but it did not come on during a guage test but niether did the full time one. Thoughts?

Not sure what year you have, but I had some instrument light issues with Cruise Control and found that the lamp in the cluster was actually burned out.

There is an instrument cluster self check sequence that can be initiated with a combination of the odometer reset and turning the key to the accy position. I forget the exact steps but a quick search of the OEM tech forum should reveal the steps.

I think I would make sure the dash lights themselves are functioning properly before further chasing T-Case switch and wiring.

 

Well I got a 00 sorry for not stating and I did the sequence and neither 4wd light came on but the full time one comes on when in 4h
