4.5 RC install... minor knowledge needs major help

i just snapped one of the rear shocks upper bolts and the hole is still filled with the thread, how the hell do i get that out??? im screwed

Grind it flush, drive a pointed chisel into the center of the broken bolt, then drill. When drilling start with a small pilot then step up to the size you need. Good luck

It's just a flattened rivet nut.
Take a tapered punch and a good hammer and punch it right out.
Then tape a nut to a box end wrench and feed it into the body channel and bolt down the shock with a regular nut & bolt. If you want to get fancy ... buy some stover/top locking nuts and use a tiny bit of anti seize. The stover/top lock nut is tighter than a regular nylon lock-nut ... and the anti seize is self explanatory.
