Didn't realize they had 4.88 for D35..but then again...why would you want too.

Some folks like 5.13s with 29in tires so they can creep really really slow. Other people like myself compensate by building very big torquey motors and using the matching gear with matching tire...IE 4.88 for 36-38s 4.56 for 35s 4.10 for 33s etc.

that is severely undergeared.

btw, 35s will fit fine. youll need some cut, some fold, and some hockey pucks.

I have seen his rig stock height on 37's so nobody talk about 4.5" and 35's being too small.

homebuilt

i wanted something high clearance and everything out there gave less clearance than stock, so the only answer was to build it myself

old thread but.. the search function finally worked!!
i was thinking of running 35's and a 3" lift but wasn't sure it could be done.
my first cherokee is rusted all to hell, so i figured i don't mind trimming the hell out of it.. so, 3" lift and 35's and cut and fold and see how that goes.
want big meaties, but low COG. i no rock crawl, just dirt and mud, so i'm not too worried about rubbing
