Default 4.5" Lift and 35" tires? Will they work.

I want to buy a 4.5" lift and get 35" mud tires. Will they work together. Im thinking I might have to trim the fenders. Is there anything else.

yep trimming and bump stops otherwise you will hit the fenders and rub like mad on flexing..That's a lot of tire for a 4.5" lift..

If you have the D35 then you will need another rear end. That won't hold the 35s for very long. A good mudhole and that will snap an axle if you are lucky or pop teeth off the ring gear.

Yeah I think 33's would be the max I'd run unless you have a D44 or 8.8 rear end..and even then I think I'd want an extra inch or so of lift for 35's..

Just a side note but you can run 35's on a post 96 c8.25.

You can use any gears you like...You wont like them. But you can use the 3.55s.

For wheeling your looking at 4.56. 4.88 if you rock crawl. And if you have a d35 or C8.25, you can't do the 4.88s. 4.56 is as large as they go.

You CAN put 4.88s in a D35, they make them. Which, BTW, is the only ratio I'd run with tires that size. I have 4.88s on mine with 33" tires and love it!!
