I put the same lift on my 2001 this spring. I love it. Took me an a buddy about 7 hours to put it on but about 2 hours of that was fighting rusted bolts. Take the advice and start soaking your hardware about 3 days before you plan on the install.

IMHO, don't do the add-a-leaf. Your rear leaves are going to be worn out and all it will do is kill your add-a-leaf. Go ahead and get the lifted pack. I didn't do anything extra besides the steering stabilizer. No SYE or anything. I am running 32x11.50's and by jeep rides smooth, tracks straight, or exhibit any strange behaviors with the lift on it.

One note, you may end up needing to get longer control arms as when you lift the truck the axle tends to roll down and back towards the rear of the vehicle. This can cause rubbing in the fender well. The longer control arms center the axle back up. That's my next project.

The stock leafs on my jeep right now are fine, they aren't sagging at all, I got the add a leaf 4.5 inch rough country lift sitting in my garage waiting to be put on. I don't think it will sag since my springs are in pretty good condition

You never know bud, you might get lucky. I just know I have done 3 since I put mine on and they all were worn out. You may have gotten some good springs.
