With an AW4 trans and 33's 4.56 gears is probably the way to go.

If you're only running 33"s I'd go with 4.56s. You don't need 4.88s on a dual purpose, sometimes tow vehicle. JMO

4.56s are near perfect for 33" tires, IMHO. If you plan on going bigger than a 33", then you may want to look at 4.88s, but I wouldn't bother with the 4.10s, they would be a bit high for any towing duty to speak of on 33s. Good luck, keep us posted on your decision.

4.56 will be my gear of choice when I get ready to install the D44 in the garage.

No, you have to have the proper tools. A set up kit is just the bearings, seals and crush sleeve.

BTW, Nomiation rectracted, and now nominating...MYSELF!!

It depends, a place like 4WP would be A LOT, but you can ask around, I have found a couple folks that will do it for around $200.00-$300.00 per axle. I can't remember what 4WP quoted, but I remember it was steep!!
