I've got a 94 Cherokee with a 4.0 I6. For the last couple months it has had a small hesitation when taking off from a stop. I didnt worry about it since I planned on parking it soon. Well about a week ago the miss/hesitation has become constant at all RPM ranges. The vehicle has lost power. I replaced the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. I started unplugging the plug wires one at a time. When I got to cylinder 6 there was no change in how it idled or revved. Any ideas? I have not ran a compression test yet. What type of psi are these supposed to have? I dont know how many miles are on the engine. The odometer says 250k but ive only put about 5k of those on there. Thanks for any help

 

100 psi or more is range were it should fire. They usually around 125 psi Did you test your injector?

 

No I did not test my injector. How would I do that? I wont be working on it again until Tuesday, weather permitting.
