talking about the flexplate bolts? Already checked them and theyre tight as can be. bout broke a knuckle doing it too haha

I got a 94 xj from my grandpa recently and it came with a tick in the engine and leaks oil, said it wouldnt get worse, wouldnt get better. My dad was looking at the engine run and saw that i think it was cyl 3/4, the spark plug wire was sparking onto the engine block, a new set of spark plug cables solved that ticking noise. The bolts were also super loose on the block, that was the oil leak problem. Easy fixes for both, not saying your tick is as easy as crappy cables, but it just might be
