3in lift for $300 craigslist
Found this 3in lift on craigslist for $300, the guy says he pulled it off a cash for clunkers jeep then decided he didn't want it for his jeep?
Here is what he says about it
" do not know the brand, it is used. i bought it for $300 at brads for my sisters jeep then she decided she did not want to lift hers. it is all freshly degreased and presure cleaned before coating it with gloss black. here is a few pics. the jeep it was pulled from was an old mans jeep turned in for the cash for clunkers program. it was a very clean not abused jeep."
What would be a good way to test out and make sure its in good condition?
here are some photos

Decent price. its missing some Key parts to be a complete lift kit.. but for $150 more you could complete it. Those leaf packs are $250+ shipped to your door. the coil springs will be right around $100 shipped and the shocks are probably cheap white Mexico shocks, that go for $25/ea
Not a bad buy. but it will need a track bar (or atleast a bracket) and Lower control arms for a 3" lift

By the time you spend the $ for the missing parts, plus new hardware (always replace U bolts and nuts) some decent shocks, you could add a hundred or two and get a decent new off brand lift.
