Depends on how much rubbing you can stand and if you plan on turning. I have 7.5" and 35s with about 4" cut out of my fenders and still rub. But I also don't run bumpstops. If you limit most of your up travel you might get by with 8".

you can with 8 as long as sway bars are conected on front it wont hit. on back i think the tire moves to far forward when lifted though. might have to relocate back a few inches to recenter
