May COTM Submission
My Jeep is a White 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport.
4.0 motor with cold air intake
AW4 auto trans
NP231J Transfer Case with HD SYE Kit
The Front axle is a welded Ford HP D44 with a custom homebrew steering made out od 1.5" DOM tubing and heim joints. It is trussed and set up for hydro steer and has Warn premium lock outs. The lower control arm brackets are boxed in and have skids. All brackets are from Ruff Stuff and Ballistic.
The rear axle is a welded Ford D60 with anti wrap spring perches and custom raised shock mounts as well as a disc brake conversion.
The front suspension consists of Rubicon Express 5.5" coils and a custom homebrew 3 link out of DOM tubing and Ruff Stuff heim joints with a single upper on the drivers side. It also has a very nicely built HD crossmember that is a homebrew as well.
The rear suspension consists of Rubicon Express 4.5" leaf springs and a 1" HD lift shackle by Currie.
Shocks are Rough Country N2.0 gas shocks
Rims and tires 35x12.50x16.5 BFG MT on black 16.5" Wagon wheels
Fenders have been trimmed/cut and folded and the bottom portion of the jeep has been bedlined as well as the rear quarters.
Interior is stock with the exception of a CB radio.
Jeep is basically rust free other than a small spot started on the back hatch.
In the next month or so it will have JCR sliders, a Nates4x4 rear bumper that i will be moddifying, and a JCR DIY winch bumper. and shortly after i will be replacing the welded rear with a nice locker
All of the work done on this Jeep has been done by me. I bought the jeep completely stock in Feb.
