lol who's driving sandaddik2 yea thats what im going for just trim the ***** out of it. I think i need to bumpstop it but i dont wanna invest i keep trying to find something on how to set the bumpstops to proper levels for flex. like i said, its a weekend jeep. not daily driver so it wont be used all the time. No major wheeling just small trails and thru the woods and mabye a couple of mud pits here and there. I really think it would be fine.

You did do a t-case drop right?

they'll fit fine, even on an 8 inch rim. There's a member here, I forget who, but he has a great cheap solution for bumpstops... he adds hockey pucks onto them.

hahaha hockey pucks?? seems like it would work if only i could find that thread! im glad that they wll fit at least i know that.

what i dont know is how my steering will be affected. 12.50 wide doesnt seem to much given that 31x10.50 are perfect. Plus i like wider tires so it would benifit me too. First i need to find some b/c the ones i thought were good dry rotted!!

33x12.5's on my 4" of lift. Obviously trimmed my fenders. I'm considering going back down to 32x11.5-'s when i get new tires.

I have 5ish inches on 35s.

You need to do a fair amount of trimming, mostly the rear of the front fender wells.

and I used hockey pucks for bumpstops.
Basically you can slide the pucks through the coils and cement them down on the circular plate inside the bottom of the coil, directly under neath the stock bumpstops. I had to add 4 pucks and still rub..

Good luck!

Think the guy I was referring to drilled a hole through the middle of them and ran a bolt up through them. Do a search and I think you'll find it.

Going to search tonight. I might settle on the 35's if i do, major trimming & pucks will be happening.

My friend might get me a good deal on some bfg 33x 10.50's now that would be amazing

That green xj is nice. I like the small bumper but i also like a little sticking out in the front in case i smack a tree or whatever

Is there any further mounting points for the bumper?

basically, people cut out their rockers and replace with solid steel.

IS the front end beefed up enough to handle it or do most people add some quarter inch then mount it?
