35" tires
in the end
for 33's you will be happiest with 4.56's
for 35's you will be happiest with 4.88's
for 37's you will be happiest with 5.38's
talk to people that have run those setups and they will tell you they are happy with them.
i have run 37's with 5.38's which is lower than stock but makes up for the added rolling mass. i run about 2800 rpm's at 65-70 mph and get 18-19 mpg

the 3,000 rpm was an exxaggeration, but you get he point.
agreed that was an isolated case.
Im not worried abotu breakage im worried abotu gas mileage. im just looking for some insight.
My gears are 3.07s stock. Im looking for a gear:tire ratio as close to stock as possible, since i use 4low offroad anyway. 4.10 gears on 33s jumped up from 3.55s stock is closest to stock. 4.56 would be fine too, a lil extra low end torque for the trails... but mine are 3.07s considering im looking for a closest to stock ratio, 4.10s is the way to go, i DONT want extra low en power.
Anyway, anyone running 35s let me know, im about to just say f@#$ it and do it and make my own write up on gas milage haha.

a completely proportional gearing set for 35s would be 3.80 gears, which dont exist, so 4,10s but im im further bumping it up to 4.56s t would seem thats enough extra gear reduction to make up for hte extra mass.
