35" on my xj
ok so i have a 4.5" lift + fender trimming on my xj,
I want 35"/12.50/15's really bad as far backspaciing, can i run stuck wheels with wheel spacers??
what bump stops would need in the rear and the front??
I have pix of my xj posted if that helps thanx

no stock wheels. you need at least in the 4.50 to the 3.75 range for backspacing. and and i would look into some of the front poly stops that you can trim to fit your application make them a little longer then you think they should be cause they flex some. and you can make your own for the rear with some box tubing of what ever size you want like 2x4 or so that way it brings the stock spacer down more or get some longer stops for the rear. and you will still need to trim some to fit since they are larger. hope that helps get an idea of what you can do

I'd try sending HeavyMetal a PM. He's got a 4.5" lift and 35's with trimmed fenders, wheel spacers, and aftermarket rims. And welcome from North Jersey

I just bought a used set 35/12.50/15 bfg mudders , there on ford 15/8 chrome steel wheels 5 lug I get to pick them up tomorow
I gonna see what the the backspacing is on those, plus get wheel adapter spacers to run the wheels but i gotta sand and paint the wheels, I'am not much for chrome lol

welcome to the forum from eastern pa and get the longest bumstops you can and trim them as said before also not sure if you did or not but will need to regear for those tires if you have stock gearing you will have some serious power issues good luck
