Question 33x12.5/15 or 33x10.5/15??

Ok this might seem like a really dumb question, but what benefit is a twelve inch wide tire over a ten inch wide tire? I am contemplating going 10's just for the added clearance..

Well, there's a lot of variables, but I have 34x10.5 LTB's and have found when it's totally flexed out, they tuck up into the front fenders well. I know the 12.5's would hit the flares.

I would like a set of 33x12.5 AT's for the street though.

Just depends what you want to do with it and what you have for wheels, too.

Depending on what you are using them for (I have 31/11.5/15's) that are REAL wide on my 12x15 rims for the beach driving I do. The tires enable me to wheel on the beach and trails without letting air out. I just drive straight on while everyone else "air's down"...Tj

i like my 10.5s because they tuck into the fenders nicely, put less strain on parts, and i just like the look of skinnier tires.

i just got some 33x12.5s and i love the look of the wider tire, and seems to me like the more surface area would help with traction, but, as mentioned would probly put more stress...

Yeah I am leaning towards the 10.5's as well... I like the look of the wider tire better but as some of you mentioned I think the narrower one will give me more clearance on full lock turns and will tuck in the fenders better..

No.. KM's. I bought as they were being phased out.

My son runs 32x11.50 KM2's and are wearing like iron.

I went 10.50s. IMO less stress on steering, tucks better and I also think it looks better.

i run 10.5's and i love them I have had no issues with them. x100 on the less stress thing and they do luck up nicely even with 4" backspacing. They still look really awesome too.
