My son has been running 33s with his stock 3.55 gears for a couple of months now. He averages around 16 MPG.

My son's Daily Driver and Weekend Warrior is on 33s with 3.55s. You can live with them. You'll just have to decide for yourself how soon you want to re-gear. I say get the tires now!!!

Ok cause I bought a RC 4.5in lift, and some american racing black wagon wheels. Now i cant decide what type of tires to buy. Buckshot mudders are pretty cheap what do you think about them.

32s would be a little better but, not much.
MY 33s are Maxxis Bighorns and I absolutely LOVE THEM!!! I ran all over Walker Valley this last weekend and never spun a tire other than when I goosed it a made spin. I would have loved to have had these tires a couple of weekends ago when I was slip sliding and winching myself all over Evans Creek.

i run the 33's with the stock 3.55 gears it is not that bad but it is noticeable and your mileage will suffer some but the guys getting 10 mpg or less have other issues messing with there gas mileage i am getting about 13 to 16 mpg with the 33's on and i can go 80 with little issue. plus dont forget that with 33's on stock gears you are going like 75 when it says 65 there is a big difference in the speed you are going and miles you have traveled versus what the odometer says

I am getting 16 mpg with 33s and stock 3.55 gears. The only downside I have is that when I am running between 70 and 80 mph, it keeps wanting to downshift to keep the speed up. Instead of regearing my stock axles, I did a little jy searching and found axles with stock 4.10s that I will transplanting soon. It cost way less than buying new carriers, new gears, a full install kit, and paying the labor. Plus with the stock 4.10 carriers I can regear to 4.56s later if I want
