I haven't, I bought the tires and wheels as a set already mounted. for $200 +trade for my old crappy aftermarket rims and a set of nearly bald 31s

i've run 32's on my previous jeep just for $hit and giggles for about a week.. no my tires weren't chewed or ruined at all, yea they looked fresh on the side-wall a little bit but it wasn't bad... (strictly on road only) and yea the rubbed on bumps and turns but not to the point where the tires are going to die or anything....
No its not a good idea to run them on a stock cherokee.. but there's always the hard way of learning i guess
