Default 3" Lift Must Haves?

Been searching for the last 2 Hours and keep getting mixed reviews.

What is a must have for a 3" Lift besides the lift parts itself?
Will I need longer brake lines, new control arms, sway bar drop brackets, etc?

Whats the least I can get away with in other words.

Bigger shocks.

T-case drop or SYE.

I found a good deal on a used 3in lift with Coils, Shocks, and 4 AAL's. I'll probaly ditch the AALs for a bastard pack or run em til I can get new lift leafs all together. I just wanna make sure I dnt get her tore down there need a bunch of other crap.

A longer rear brake line if you plan on flexing a bunch other than that you dont need anything.

You will get mixed opinions about lower control arms. I have them and like them they are much stronger over stock. Brake lines are easy... straighten hard line and relocate lower on the frame. SYE/ TRansfer case drop i doubt you will need. I'm at 4" and get no vibes. Springs or spacers / aal or shackles / and longer shocks are a must. Oh yeah rear brake line will be a little tight you can get a 95 yj rear line or relocate the rear bracket also.

Sounds great, mayb this weekend I'll be lifted with 265-70-16's, hopefully.

For a T-Case Drop if needed from what I've seen I can practically makes those myself, correct? I wouldn't feel comfortable using a bunch of washers but maybe sum thick steel tubing or sum type of steel around 1"-2" thick with some holes drilled in it?

I dont think it will be needed but yes some 1" square tubing and 4 longer bolts will work for a T case drop just make sure you get the correct grade hardware

When I lifted mine 3" I got vibes at 30mph and 65mph so be aware that while it might not happen be prepared to deal with it.

I got vib's right now at 60, think it's the stabilizer though. Everything else is nice and tight up under it. If the stabilzer is in any condition like the shcoks (Which is all O.E.) the shocks was like they didnt even have anything inside of em, Just a rod that moved freely up and down, and bushings, what bushings, lol.

from what i've read you'll need to redrill your trac bar or get an adjustable one

I had to redrill my track bar with a 3" RC lift because the axle moved closer to the drivers side with the lift. Also I had to put a heavy duty steering stabalizer. And once you do all that you steering wheel will be off center. When you go to pull the steering wheel off of the splined shaft you may find a post for the horn that wont allow you to just pull the wheel and put it on straight. One thing leads to another and another and another.

Thats's what i'm afraid of, I picked the kit up yesterday, guy didn't say anything but it had the t-case drop spacers in the bottom of the box , Gonna try and get it put on today or tomorrow and see what else I run into
