Default 3" JCWhitney lift???

I am looking for a 3" lift that isnt going to cost me an arm and a leg, I found some kinda promising kits but im not sure if these are legit or what? http://www.jcwhitney.com/suspension-...98d1163y1995j1

I am running on a tight budget but i have some play in the price ranger here. anybody know if these kits are worth my time and if i will need anything thats NOT in this kit? THANKS!

Budget lifts will get you up, but I find they don't really last long before they sag or make the ride miserable. That said, thats a pretty sweet deal. Almost too good to pass up if you have no cash.

I'd do that lift in a heartbeat. That's a lot of product for 120 bucks. It'll sure enough get you down the road a year or two. I may buy one myself.

LOL @ the reviews, the guy at that was a mechanic, it took him 5 days and the other guy that says on his review he is not a mechanic, it took him 2. oh and the guy that got his 2 3/4 u-bolts to fit...lol hmm oh well, seems like a good deal. sounds like you might wanna tell them to go ahead and send you the correct size u-bolts.

I would not recommend rough country lifts. There is a Budget Builds: What Junkyard Parts Will Fit Cherokee? sticky at the beginning of Cherokee tech... And just remember you get what you pay for. usually.
Man I miss Mt Shasta!!!

Its a Rough Country lift. If you really want a RC lift, you are much better buying it straight from them. First, they can't point fingers at each other when there is a problem. Second, you can get the pieces that is missing right off the bat...

The JCWhitney reviews are not specific to the Cherokee so keep that in mind. Your experience may vary. I have bought plenty of things from JCWhitney and have had nothing but good luck. Actually once they sent me two catback exhaust systems for my truck when I ordered only one and when I called them they just told me to keep it. Can't beat that.

Even if you have to get extra u-bolts, thats still a cheap kit.

No questions return policy can't be beat. I'd rather deal with JCW than RC direct any day of the week. JCW has been around since before Tag was a dog and know their business. RC? Not so much.

Shocks absorbers? The stock ones are only good to about 2" of lift.

If you want to buy a kit then save up and buy a good one because you get what you pay for.
