3 issues with my jeep
I recently bought an 89 jeep with 185 or so miles on it. I have a few issues with it... the first is that I have bake fluid driping from my the front of my manual trans... I asume it is my clutch but would it be that my slave cilender is bad or that my through out bearing is bad?? the second is that my tires rub when i turn tight .. is this a comon issue when u run 31x10.5 on factory wj rims from a 98?? can i just put spacers in it... what set should I get?.... my third issue is that is shakes at 50 to 60 mph if i ust the brakes to slow down it shakes worse and if i take a turn threw thoes mps.... am I looking at a front end issue or something else?.... any help would be great thanks

leaky slave cylinder. First WJ is 1999, 1998 would be ZJ and they have same backspacing as XJ. So yeah, you'll want spacers or to adjust the steering knuckle stop. Sounds like Warped brake rotors. wouldn't hurt to check front bearings and U-joints.

what spacing would i need for the rims? there are two comonly avalable ones for the jeep i found 1" and 2"... how big of a job is replacing the slave cylinder?? something i could do myself?? the brakes rotors are fine.. else it would shake more at higer speeds but it is only threw 40mps to 50mps... not above not below.. is there any comon front end issues with them???

It's a 23 years old Jeep, every thing in the front end is probably shot, ball Joints, Tie rod end and bushings. If you think the rotors are good fine. check the tire balance. But vibrition when you apply the brakes is most likely warped rotors or bent calipers.
