Boy those axles are way to small for those tires,as long as he dont try to spin them they should last I doubt that it can do much else but drive around.

3ft, youd need to swap out for tons. Engine to get tires moving.

You sound like you dont really know much, Im not bagging on you just stating what I think. Go with a 8", you can clear 40's with trimming. Most crawlers are about 6" lift with widened wheel base and 35-38s.

wow, 3 feet, i would love to see that, even though it is unpractical, a long arm kit on a Cherokee 10 years ago was unpractical! so maybe you can design something and sell it!

Actually, that is a Dana 60 in front with aftermarket shafts with the short side outer as a weak link and he races it in mud bogs. He has broken the weak link shaft a few times but he has Detroits front and rear so he can still finish the run. The rear is a 14bff axle.

Cool that it works but I would lean towards rockwells if I had the green stuff for them, nice rig though.

To realistically do it you'd need to basically build a lower subframe like monster trucks have to allow control arm angles and drive shaft angles to be possible. Huge amount of fab work. Motor swap to turn the giant tires you'd need for a 36" lift as well as Rockwells which are not cheap. Dude you're lookin at a HUGE project with so much money wasted on something that will be made fun of everywhere. Build an xj with 37's and around 6-7" with trimming, upgraded axles, cage it and you're good. Save yourself money. Sorry to be harsh but cmon man.

Yea, Rockwells would be the way to go, but it started out a lot smaller and sort of grew over the years so it is kind of locked into the HD one ton stuff.
Unless someone buys them and he swaps the 2.5 ton axles in.

my lift aint 3 foot but i can clear 54s and thats the biggest street legal you can go, so unless your runnin tractor tires or some crazy bulldozer tires, i wouldnt go 3 feet of lift. 20" lift will clear anything you need, anythin higher will be tippy which is not what you want when rock crawlin. but its good to have a big ol lift if your gonna have it as a mud truck on some tractor tires.
