+/-$25 will get u a point-n-shoot laser temp gun........point it at the t-stat housing after it's warmed up. Your gage is whacked or t-stat is stuck open or both....if the gauge is accurate and a 180 t-stat is functioning correctly, it should run 180+, even with a 30 row rad.

They sent me a pyrometer that was toast from the factory. I called, within 2 days ihad a complete replacement with all the extras that were good from the first gauge.
