Well I ended up ordering a 3 core from Radiatorbarn. Received it 3 days after placing my order. VERY easy to install and no fitment issues. The brand they send is CSF. THe jeep now runs WAY cooler. I use to average around 215-230 at idle and would over heat after 10 mins on the freeway getting up close to 250ish.

Now I havent seen the temp gauge get about 200*. Last week it was 90+ degrees and I took a 1hr trip, avg temp was about 155*.

Very impressed with the quality for the price of the 3core.

155* seems a bit low.

It may use more fuel because the engine thinks it too cool.

Confirm its not just the gauge showing an inaccurate temp, first.

That is what I was thinking of doing. Here in texas tho it gets well up to high 90's and often over 100* in the summer...that is the only reason I just went down to a 180* tstat

Get an aftermarket water temp gauge. Harbor freight has cheap ones, or go with better quality.

Def plan on running autometer gauges. I had them as a sponsor for my last truck and loved the gauges.
